Is it just me…or is there no Moose Meat Pole this fall…yet?!?!
Here ya go, Dino. My Wyoming Shiras bull. 9/23
Oh man! Bad ass! Nice bull. What’s the story/set up for that one?
Probably gonna do a thread on it pretty soon…
Here is my brother’s central Alberta moose. He built up 12yrs of priority before pulling the tag. I called it in, his boy videoed, Dale shot it at 14 yds with Hoyt Rx4 ultra. 65 lbs. quarter to, arrow hanging out far side for a full pass through. Was a very aggressive moose and made for a very exciting hunt!
Nice bull, Dino! Would love to see the video.
Nice bull t-roy!!! Congrats sir....you're a killing machine!
Awesome T-Roy!!! and congrats to everyone...…I'm hoping draw my own moose permit here in Montana as I acquire points. I called in a 43 inch 10.5 year old bull for my Dad a couple years back here in Montana. What a neat animal and he enjoyed the attention from a group of "girls night out" locals that happened by, ha.
A good friend (and non Bowsite member) filled his Colorado season’s choice Shiras tag on Monday - was his 17th day of hunting. Thought you all would like to see. Poudre
Congratulations everyone! t-roy were in WY did you take your bull? Congrats to your friend PoudreCanyon! What unit? Congratulations to your brother Dino! Great looking bull!
Here is a pics of my Colo. bull, opening day-09/11, by 7:30am. Less than 400yrds to camp/truck. Text book hunt after drawing my 28th year putting in only to have postponed till this year due to fires, great way to end a once in a lifetime hunt with my life long hunting buddy Wade, who was my decoy handler,LOL, those decoys really work! I'll also add to my original post little more detail of my hunt here soon.

And my 2021 bull. 25 yd shot. 65lb Hoyt Rx3 Ultra. Good old Wasp Jak Hammers! Bull died about 12 yds away
Good stuff, guys! Congrats all.
Awesome Dino!! Congratulations! Great Bull! The short pack-out's are the extra icing on the cake! You and DirtyD got lot's of extra icing.
Congrats to all the lucky hunters!
Congrats to everyone! Awesome to see all the stick and strings doing well.
Congrats Guys!!! Unfortunately warm weather, tons of wolves, and trying out the early season lead to one good moose sighting on my hunt. My buddy only brought a rifle that night. There is potential to have gotten the bull to bow range, but this was a real nice bull and biggest we've seen in that area. Buddy did NOT want to let him reach the shoreline, so finally I relented and said OK fine pound em lol. 100 yards with the 7mm Mag.
I had the greatest video of the whole deal, but a phantom record button push lead me to being one button off on each record session. SMH. Most beautiful scene ever walking across a small river with rapids and sunset in the background. Grunting. Oh it was fabulous.
Came back the next morning with the waders.
Still In BC Canada flew out of the bush yesterday… Waiting on Ned ( looses hill ) to fly out weather permitting he’ll be back in town tomorrow… Tough year from what I was told so I was happy to collect this guy..
A bucket list hunt for me for sure
Throwing my hat in the ring!
Some great moose in this thread. Congrats to all the hunters!!!
