Ok, I have waited to give everyone a fair chance to join in to congratulate this young lady bow hunter for her outstanding trophy. Stalked, waited 4 hours for a shot and when it was time she made the shot knocking down the 13 largest mule deer I believe was the claim. Now, on another thread I said a word which I will not bring up,since it was brought up by Jaq in his posting, why, well we all know. I was told that all the congratulatory wishes on a certain celebrity bowhunter was "because we all like to congratulate bowhunters who shoot nice trophies," well it seems that certain bowhunters get a lot more fan fair in thier trophies pics vs someone who nobody knows or doesn't feel the need to "act" like it's their buddy. Imo it proves my original statement as to the fb syndrome, I can think of no better example to prove my statement. Both threads up for a week and the number of responses are vastly different, 32 for this young hunter vs 230 for the celebrity. Just wanted to highlight the difference due to some throwing the jab(s)
Now, just let me say, I will not respond to any attacks of my post, Say what you want, send the nasty pms, it's ok. I did not post this to cause a fight or hurt feelings, just to point out the differences in how folks react to individuals with trophy pics. Wow. What a great buck. Congrats! I once watched an episode of Tim Well’s show where his daughter (Sydney ?) stalked and killed a great whitetail buck in his bed. It was awesome to watch. I just don’t have the patience for something like that.
