Andrew if you're going to manage the prey it only makes sense to manage the predators. In almost every area I hunt there's no shortage of coyotes. I usually pass coyotes while deer hunting mainly because a coyotes not worth ruining a deer hunt and I prefer trapping them in the winter. Just got back from a muzzleloader hunt in the Oklahoma panhandle and could have shot a coyote every sit. This girl came in on the last 10 minutes of my final morning hunt decided she wasn't getting a pass.

I don't hate coyotes - I actually hold them in higher regard than some critters but really enjoy hunting them. If a non-coyote hunter, a coyote and I are sitting at the bar, two of us get why.

Overrun with yotes today. Saw 4 and ended up getting 2 of them. Not what I'd like to be shooting on Nov 5th but can't pass em up!
