Is this buck looking at you or away from you?

From: molsonarcher
28-Oct-21
At. You can see his nose and eyes.

From: LINK
28-Oct-21
Away. I think. Cool picture Edit: at further investigation the ear is in front of the beam, he’s looking at camera, I think..

Away....

From: Supernaut
28-Oct-21
I'd say looking at the camera. I'm pretty sure I can see the nose and some eye outline even with my head turned sideways.

at, nose patch visible

At, unless he is a realllly unique deer.

From: JL
28-Oct-21
After further evaluation of the evidence (the horns)....I'll realign my vote....he's looking at the cam.

From: tkjwonta
28-Oct-21
My vote is away, based on the fact it looks like his right ear is behind (closer to the camera) than his right antler beam. I certainly could be wrong though

From: deerhunter72
28-Oct-21
I say at.

28-Oct-21
Yes. I can see his eye lashes.

From: Woods Walker
28-Oct-21
At. Angle the computer screen a bit and you see more details. I can see the outline of his nose, the ridge of his snout, and part of the left eyebrow.

From: JL
28-Oct-21
(1) You can see his main beam out to the tips on his left antler and (2) the noted eyelash also gives a hint. Combine those two and I'd go with at the camera.

It's quite obviously looking at the camera. You can see the nose and even it's left eye ball.

From: LBshooter

At the cam.

From: Chuckster

At. His black nose shows up slightly darker. If he was looking away, that would be the bottom of his chin.

Enhanced I think I can see that his right ear is behind his right beam, so he’s looking away. I’m always right 50% of the time…..

From: Woods Walker
28-Oct-21
Maybe he identifies as looking away from the camera. Who are we to assign body positions anyway?

From: drycreek
28-Oct-21
Looking at it again I see what I think are the dark areas on the “rims” of his ears as he looks toward the camera. I’m always right 50% of the time ! ;-)

From: Norseman
28-Oct-21
Away. Unless he has the smallest nose ever on a deer.

From: JohnMC
28-Oct-21
I think away - I don't think that is his nose I think it is the underside of his chin from behind. I think if he was looking at the camera the darkness of eyes would show. But what you see is the back that more or less the same color and is all washed out equally.

From: arlone
28-Oct-21
Looking at the camera according to the curve of his antlers, I think?

From: deerhunter72
28-Oct-21
JohnMC made me see that he could be looking away. It is an illusion!

From: Woods Walker
28-Oct-21
If he's looking away, they why can you see the black tip of his nose?

28-Oct-21
Rt at your camera deer not sure I’ve ever seen a crab claw G2/G3

From: Aspen Ghost
28-Oct-21
It's a rare two-faced deer. It will probably run for elected office,

I took this picture off the computer from a 15 second vidio, so I know which way hes going. You all have legit arguments.

Away

28-Oct-21
How in the world can you say the deer is looking away from the camera!!?!? The deer is a small Crab Claw 10

29-Oct-21
I originally thought away but then I changed my mind to facing toward the camera. But then after seeing that 8's or Better is sure that it's looking toward the camera and he somehow counts 10 points, I'm going to change again and say that I only see 9 points and it's looking away ;-)

From: White Falcon
29-Oct-21
At you. Rt ear is in front of antler.

From: T Mac
29-Oct-21
Away you can see the white underside of his chin and back of ears are brown not like white insides

29-Oct-21
Twords the camera….rack is coming twords the camera and you can see eye outlines

From: Rut Nut
29-Oct-21
Looking at it’s silhouette of the head I see why people would say away, but if you look closely at the orientation of the antlers it’s quite obvious that it’s rack is FACING the camera. No question.

I see a gold dress, and my wife sees a blue one. Hmmm, plot thickens!

From: mooseslayer
29-Oct-21
He is looking AT the camera. A nine point buck with 5 points on his left side 4 on his right side. I paused the vidio at just the perfect time to give the illusion of misdirection. Heck there were times i thought he was looking away. In my opinion his right side antler(4pts) was the deciding factor. Was fun hearing all the opinions!!!
