You'd be surprised how many people live like this in rural Minnesota and Wisconsin. Some because they want to, and some because they have to. There's a lot to be said for keeping to yourself and only coming out of the woods when ABSOLUTELY necessary...especially in the times we live in. Hell, he's the lucky one as far as I'm concerned!
