Wonderful picture! I hope that they print it and frame so that 50 years from now they still have. Who knows what media will be use then.

Wow. That is special! Thanks for sharing. My grandfather instrumental for me becoming a hunter. I have not visited his grave in many years. I need to make it down and sit with him a while.

Don't think that I have ever been touched more by a photo than this one. I vividly remember showing my grandfather my first buck (15 years old). Also remember each of my sons first bowkills. I am continuing to try to make my granddaughter's (and mine) wish for the same to come true with the bow. She is hooked after being present (actually saw him draw down and shoot) this year when my son took a P and Y 6x6 elk with his bow. Thank you Pat for making my day. Badbull

As the Deer Pants for water, part of which was on the stone memorial behind the young hunter. Martin J. Nystrom----------- You alone are my strength, my shield To You alone may my spirit yield You alone are my heart's desire And I long to worship Thee As the deer panteth for the water So my soul longeth after Thee You alone are my heart's desire And I long to worship Thee You're my friend And You are my brother Even though You are a King I love You more than any other So much more than anything I want You more than gold or silver Only You can satisfy You alone are the real joy giver And the apple of my eye
