Arizona Unit 6A Javelina

Well i successfully drew my archery javelina tag for Arizona units 6A, 6B, 8, & 9. I have a friend that has a little knowledge about 6A but wanted to reach out to see if anyone had any advice for hunting in these areas? This will be my first time in this area but have hunted javelinas in the past. Any information or thoughts would be much appreciated.

I see them in the unit but not very consistent. I imagine some camp verde folks have the bead on some local herds. Good luck on your hunt.

I've seen them occasionally in a couple of those units, and I think the populations are increasing. But, those are tough areas to find them anywhere with any real consistency, so I can't really offer any advice. I would assume the lower the elevation the better.
