Hunt my Iowa farm (Auction)

Hi Guys, First I would like to Thank Pat for allowing me to do this. This year I lost a dear friend of Mine Carmine Barresi to a snow mobile accident. He was just 35 years old, to make things more heart breaking, he left behind a 4 year old daughter and a pregnant wife.
Carmine was a NYC Fire fighter and a great man with a heart of gold an infectious smile and a personality that could make anyone feel welcome. Im tearing up writing this right now. I want to help in any way that I can because I know if I needed his help he would do the same for me, so I am offering up a hunt on my personal farm in southern Iowa.
The Prize 7 days fully guided by me on my farm, any legal weapon or season that you draw, Zone 5 Iowa. It takes 5 points for a bow tag and 1-2 for a gun tag. Lodging is included; Steve Hanson (Hans 1) who is a sponsor on this site has donated and agreed to provide lodging at his place. I can't thank him enough. He can attest to the quality of the ground you will be hunting. He plants all of the food plots and was the realtor who sold me the place.
The Winner can also come out on our annual March shed hunt. They will be able to spring turkey hunt. ( unreal turkey population). They will have access and receive all of the cell trail cam pictures. They can also come out in the summer when we set stands and trim lanes. The rules: I'll start the bid off at $1500 and each person can post in $100 increments. The bids will open today and close on Christmas Day at noon eastern time. This hunt can be delayed if you don't have the points to draw. You can also have some one go in your place.
This will be a truly special hunt as I will make it a priority to get you on a great buck. Ill post up what we killed this year as well as recent trail camera pics and past year kills.

You’re a good friend Leo and a very noble cause. I only have one Iowa point and no deer hunting gun. It’s not my preference to gun hunt but I can definitely get behind the cause. Very unfortunate circumstances. My condolences!

My goal is to get the person on the largest buck that is on my place, Im also ok with you shooting whatever makes you happy. If for some reason you don't get it done in 7 days, come back or stay longer. I'm very flexible.

It is a bad time to have zero points! Will send up a prayer for comfort for the family and friends as they grieve, and cope. That is heartbreaking for all and the holidays are never the same.

Update: My friend that was building points with me in IA is going too. Leo was gracious enough to allow him to join for an additional bid price of $6,300. We both have 5 points going into the NR deer draw which should almost guarantee us tags? Sure seems like a win/win for everyone involved. I'm glad Carmine's family gets another $6,300. Can't thank Leo enough for allowing my friend to join.

My friend and I both drew our IA NR spring turkey tags as well as Leo. Looking forward to getting out there for the 1st season and arrowing some limb chickens with him.

I did something similar years ago. Tagged out early and put out an add that I'd let 2 disabled Vets come and hunt (f.o.c.) full use of land cabin. I did not get ONE reply?

We hunted a total of 6.5 days and logged 67 hours in the stand. We were holding out for a 150"+ but never let an arrow fly.
