the wounded goose flies over the pond and dies in mid air. crashes on the ice in the middle. I test the ice and send Chase out. Good boy, good retrieve. A treat for sure.

Hunt 4, I solo hunt and bring the recurve bow. Single lands within effective range of 20 yards. I shot low and to the right. Hey, got to miss once in a while.

I would stick it out until 10:30. 10 am, this pair lands 25 yards away. Seems satisfied with the set up and walks towards the decoys.

I adjust the single pin sight to 25 yards. Pin on the first goose. Arrow on its way. WACK. The other goose leaves in a hurry.

goelk, yea, I need to take both bows when hunting. Might have close range chance with the stick.
Spike, WE have a lot to be thankful for. Tricia and I are having elk backstraps for a Christmas meal. Pronghorn ground burger, taco tonight. Maybe goose stew in the near future. Paul
