I will add screenshots. Nice story.
FWIW I still think Paul is the king! ( No geese in her log book!)
Man! She's a rock star for sure!
Pretty awesome accomplishment. I need to ask my mother if she knows this lady as I grew up in Bemidji.
That’s a day maker for sure kudos to a great lady thanks so much for sharing Lewis
Watch the class Paul handles this with!
All I have to say is that Paul and Evie are both incredibly inspirational people for me personally! I can only hope to be able to accomplish what they have!
I bet she can cook circles around every wild animal cook that ever lived!
Nice story and pretty remarkable for a lady, but.......................Paul is still The King! ;-)
Go Evie!
Go Paul!
Inspiring folk for sure.
I think we can all agree that both Evie and Paul are an inspiration to all hunters and anyone who desires to be active throughout their entire life. Keep it up
Very cool story! Both are an inspiration for the rest of us!
I would say, the Bowhunting Community now has a King, and a Queen!
Amazing to say the least, in regard to both! Something to aspire to!
She is really impressive. Lots of hours in a tree stand. Sure hope I can do what she does, if I live that long.
Great story. Thanks for sharing.
Ya gotta respect the senior folks who still go out and get it done. I just hope I (1) can make it that far and (2) still have the physical and mental ability to hunt and fish. When I went to our local DNR office to check in a couple of bucks the other day, an older lady (75-ish) pulls up in her SUV with the rack of a buck she shot and wanted to get it checked in. I struck up a conversation with her and she loved to talk hunting. She was pretty cool.
Dang..what a woman. Good for her
Within the last couple of years...didn't someone's 90-something year old relative or friend get a kill and they posted it on here?
Paul and Evie....both amazing humans!
God bless Evie. I do believe she might have taught me every thing I know about hunting and then some.
But I do know this for a fact, The "some" was, respect all things wild and free, be it man, woman or wild critters. My best, Paul
Midwest X2 and thanks for sharing the story.
Cool bananas, thanks for sharing...
Paul is still my hero but Evie is a close second !
Well that was very cool. Thanks for posting it.
That’s awesome!
But 23 big game animals and 3 turkeys in 40 years won’t upstage Paul. That sounds like a Nebraska trip to him
Do you guys seriously think Paul gives a weak, pop-corn fart about being “up-staged” by ANYONE?
Y’all must have a very different read on the man than I do.
Corax- Switch to decaf. The posts are light hearted banter for off season entertainment and enjoyment .
We all want to be like Paul and Evie when we grow up!
Elvie,Paul and a few other folks living it to the fullest are very inspirational. My hats off to them!
Evie, I am sure, and I both are thankful for the kind comments. I guess the message to get from these achievements is, if you maintain a positive attitude, keep strong as well as your passion for the out of doors and its wild critters, and hunting, age is just a number. It is up to you to keep that age number in prospective. and where you are in your own life. I you want to hunt longer but have lost the desire, both physically and mentally, then do something about it and get the desire back. Just look in the mirror and state, "hell yes", and then get it done. my best, Paul
Paul will never be dethroned!
Paul still sits on the throne but this lady has my admiration especially for sitting those long cold hours in a treestand. Those near her age know how grueling , demanding and brutal that can be. Not to mention all the other demands she puts on herself to accomplish her bowhunting and the associated tasks required. Congrats Evie !
Damn..... prolly a better shot than me too.......
Congrats to her and all who still stoke the fire! Alot to be learned here. Alot to admire.
But yeah.... Paul is still the King..... Long live the King!
