Thanks guys! If I read it right I am sure to draw unit 62 elk, regular draw with 1 point right?

OK, I'll start the seasonal posts so nobody else has to. I have 13 points and want a great archery hunt. Don't care about gun hunting. Where should I go for an epic DIY hunt in September? Oh yeah, after listening to my kids fight for weeks on end...I really don't care about grizzly bears anymore!

Ha Don you could have drawn unit 62 with one point right up until you posted it online. Now you'll never have enough points to draw:)

YFZ-88. I think you are a lock for a Type 4 hunt!! You better go into the special draw to be sure.:)

YZF,

Base on creep over the past few years you might draw a general in the special draw. :)

It will be interesting to see how it plays out for 2022 compared to 2021 draw results.

See my link from last year's Bowsite results thread.

Good luck, Robb

So you're saying I got a chance..........

It sure will Robb.

It'll either accelerate, continue, or reverse. Creep was pretty static and somewhat predictable pre-Covid and that has changed.

Maybe holding on to points is the new normal. Or maybe the number of people trying to liquidate points will start to run out, like pouring water out of a bucket.

I’m hoping that 4 is enough to draw a general tag in the regular draw.

Here’s the link to the preference points going in to 2022 draw. There sure is a lot of folks with max points for elk.

Less than half of available applicants actually apply for a given species. People simply getting off the sidelines and applying could sink your odds any given year.
