Took this desert mulie with a little 52" recurve 45# at my draw, Magnus 4 blade, 600 gr. arrow compete penetration.

Ambush, my draw is only 26.5" because I'm using a nonmechanical release of my own design that shortens my draw which helps with very short Trad. bows and eliminates finger pinch entirely. I couldn't shoot short recurves worth a darn using tab or glove.

Congrats David! Those kind of desert bucks are hard to come by...…..shots can be long so you did great shooting your trad bow, woo-hoo!

Thanks. 52" is a short but obviously very maneuverable bow. I have an old 58" Bear and with a 6' 3" wingspan It does stack and pinch. But it shoots good.
