Regarding the closed caribou, I know some of the future "super slammers" already long-ago took their Q-L caribou, when it was still open. Completing the NA slam is a process that could drag out for decades for a bowhunter, unfortunately! I believe huntinelk already killed his Q-L caribou, before the closure. I got lucky back in '17, and took one in the final year of the hunt. Let's hope it opens up again in our lifetimes.Congrats again to these 4 guys....whether 29 or 25, it's one heckuva accomplishment with archery gear.

Congrats to the SS guys. Can’t imagine doing that. I see some wolves have been arrowed. I was lucky on a griz hunt several years ago, sitting in a blind by a salmon stream. Two wolves came in to 30 yards and I arrowed one. How do people intentionally go after wolf with a bow, or is it happenstance, like in my case?
