Whitetail Display at the Indiana Deer, Turkey and Waterfowl Expo.

Pine Acres Bear Camp will be at the Indiana Deer, Turkey and Waterfowl Expo in Indianapolis. Saxon and I will be behind booth #623, across from the Hoosier Deer Display.

February 24th to the 27th.

Wolf Hunting Quincy..

Wolves perched on Quincy to get better view of bait...

Shovel snow into a mound. Wait about a week to harden. Hollow it out. Build Quincy early enough and before you start baiting the site so wolves will be use to it right from the first hit. Also gives time for snow to drift back in around the mound keeping the natural look. We have actually had a wolf or 2 crawl right in to get out of the wind chill. Sun shines through the top of the Quincy and heats up the inside. Heat will not escape. Take a garbage bag and fill with insulation to fill in the crawl space to get in and out. Use a low profile turkey chair to sit low.

We had one hunter last week and after a day long sit he finally got a shot last half hour of the day. Grazed the back of the wolf. Always have to be ready to take a shot.

More hunters after the 2 Deer Classics that we are going set up at the next 2 weekends.

Indiana Deer Turkey and Waterfowl show opens noon to 8:00 Friday, Saturday 10:00 am to 8:00 PM and Sunday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Cabin # 8 Four Bedrooms.

Cabin #9... 2 Bedroom.

Each group of hunters stay in their own Fully Modern Cabin ***right here in camp. All cabins have full kitchens and bathrooms. 1 to 2 bedrooms. All cabin's surround the lodge.
