My son Matt and I are calling coyotes in Kansas. Sorry, not bowhunting because that would be stupid. We’re using AR15’s with thermal scopes and hunting all night long.
Here’s a video from our first night. Shot 7 and bagged 5.
Looks fun! Maybe you ought to check with site owner before posting rifle hunts though.
Definitely looks like a hoot! How far have most of your shots been so far? Also, post up some pics of your equipment.

So cool you making this trip each your with your son. Enjoy the bond.
Damn cool kill em all Pat what scope are y’all using and good luck Lewis
Good job Matt and Pat ! The only thing better than a coyote killing is a hog killing !
That was pretty cool. I've done that for hogs.
Nice, the more dead coyotes the better.
Nice! Get em guys. Love the thermals. Must be chilly out there all night
Are you shooting suppressed? Would that help with second shots or doubles?
Congrats on a good time
Looks like a great time! Give us some info on your scopes please. Enjoy!
That’s cool! What scopes are you using?
I'll be a few miles from you day after tomorrow. Tried calling north of Ashland last week and saw 0 coyotes. I think the fire 2 years ago thinned them out there.
I’m using the AGM Rattler TS35, my son is using an AGM Secutor TS-50

That does look like fun!
Those are great videos! Is there any snow on the ground? TODDY
Thermal at night is the bomb!! Those AGM scopes look great.... keep it up and share more videos becauseit never gets old watching coyotes get smoked. Good luck out there....

Pat are you suppressed
The end? That's it?
We’re at 10 so far. Kansas got hit with an arctic blast with single digit temps and high winds. We hunted but it was miserable and nothing would call. Yesterday I was able to call this big male in with my mouth calls and my so dropped him. Tonight we called several but they were impossible to get within range. The first night was fantastic but the rest of the week has been tough.
Here is my first thermal kill and my rig! So addictive its all I can think about now that most of our seasons are closed!
Nothing moves the first day of a front. Second day they get hungry and come out of their dens, but a day of thaw out is best.
