This guy was riding her for 2-3 minutes. Seems early. Have a video but pain in the ass to get it onto bowsite to show some turkey sex.

Thank you John, next to hearing a buck grunting before you actually see him is the sound of a big ole Tom strutting and druming coming into your calls, before you see him.

Scentman you must not have hunted elk or you would have a bugling bull on that list. If you haven’t you should add it to your must do list.

Don't do many landscape shots, but I thought I'd show off the CO mountains in the winter (however this might have been first day of spring)..

A few from weekend before. In this one I guess I inadvertently end up on Brokeback Mountain.

Troy these turkey are roaming around near the South Platte river on the eastern side of the front range. I’d probably consider them Rios or hybrids. But I just call them turkeys. Here in a few years I want to kill all the subspecies in one season. Until then a turkey is a turkey to me so I could be wrong.

Great pics John! Thanks for sharing, after missing the last 2 Turkey seasons, it will be awesome to get back into the beautiful U S of A, and hunt those crazy gobblers!
