Some years ago knowledgeable folks mentioned the relationship between string length and cable length. If I remember properly using shorter than standard cables will increase draw length and draw weight while a long string and standard cables would have the same effect. I am discussing a two cam bow here. Can someone explain the relationship again? The specs on the bow have not been legible for years. My records show two different cable lengths and two string lengths.

What bow make/model? Most string/cable lengths can be found online. Or you could contact a string maker - they have lots if info.
