They’ve moved stuff around but used to be, specific national forest page, rec or map data (not sure which), gis, then pick the water kmz. On my phone for a while so I can’t look on my pc till I get home. I have the Lincoln.

All I know is that it has been pretty dry where I live in the GIla. Most of the tanks I reasonably walking distance from my house are bone dry now, but should hold water during archery season with a decent monsoon season.

This is the best I could come up with. There is a link at the top of the page for GIS contacts. I'd email and ask if they have a "water bodies" kmz data set for the forest you're looking at.
