'morning All,
I decided to take my last pack of Oryx meat and get it turned into a Bacon Bomb to BBQ.
No doubt many of you do similar with different meats.
Turned out pretty dang tasty if I don't say so myself!
Good luck, Robb
I overnight marinaded with Pineapple Chunks and Maraschino Cherries with some olive oil.
I like that lil' twang of flavor.
I've learned that the Bacon really flares up over an open type flame so I went to a $2 tin cake pan and under it a $2 cookie sheet and it really quit the flare up flames!
A cut out drain on each side is helpful too
I like to Long Cut a tater and the taste of a BBQ tater is pretty dang good
Time to go inside and start that part of the meal
I'm a High Fiber type guy!!
I've gotten so very cautious to wash and clean everything before cooking.
A man has to have a T&A movie to watch while cooking!
Looking good out on the BBQ

You’re gonna make somebody a good wife someday, Robb! Looks absolutely delicious!
A friend gifted me a bar sized gallon jar of Maraschino Cherries. I think I’m going to have to steal your marinade and give it a try.
Quite the breakfast Robb!

John it's speakers in back of the screen, great sound during football season and I'm in the kitchen.
Good luck, Robb
Robb, John wasn’t talking about your TV on the right side of your kitchen. He was talking about this appliance on the left side of your kitchen.
Nick that was my question.
If my wife was reading her question for Robb would be why can’t my husband be as neat and organized as you?
Robb musta’ 8 too much ‘ruffage’ and confus’d his L&R.
Okay, Sorry, gottchaa now..........
When I remodeled my kitchen last year I went with that French Door Style Oven, it does Electric Fry and everything else!
The matching brand/style stove has 2 ovens, no bottom storage bin. I have had all 3 ovens going and it is crazy how good my house smelled! haha
Ex-Navy, I keep a very clean home ,

This food looks incredible, but here is a real bacon grease bomb

Thats why after my first experience, I went to the cookie sheet/tin cake pan to catch most of the bacon grease!!
Good luck, Robb
Absolutely awesome! Glad to see a few "sustenance" threads still happening around here... Very nice! I do a version of this as well over fire with steaks.
