2023 spring bear with Babine

In the spring of 2023 Babine Guide Outfitters is going to offer Hound/spot n stock hunts for 2 hunters in each of our 6 week time slots. May 1-6, 8-13, 15-20, 22-27, 29-3 and June 5-10. Arrive the day before the hunt and depart the day after. The hunt will be 2 hunters and 2 guides teaming up to hunt bear with the hounds in the morning and if there is time in the evening to go spot n stock bear on the lodging roads or open hill sides. The hunt cost is $7300 US all in. A second bear can be taken for a trophy fee of $1700 US. Airport pick will be in Smithers or you can drive directly to our lodge on Babine Lake.

If you are looking for a chance to see a lot of bear you would not be disappointed going with Babine Guide Outfitters. In the fall of 2021 after my mountain goat hunt while I was looking to try and get a moose we seen over 20 bears and a couple of dandies. They are a top notch outfit.

This looks awesome, and I'm 100% certain would be a blast but is sure a lot of $$$ for a black bear! yikes! Im sure though that the quality of the experience is excellent.

It's alot of money no doubt,I've fortunately been on several Canadian bear hunts and haven't cracked the 20" mark yet, i absolutely love hunting bear in the spring, adding up my hunts in $$$ is not an option I don't want to know...but damn, those are some monsters.

We don't get very 20 inch plus bears. Just some big bodies. Out of 34 bears this spring we only had 2 that broke 20 inches
