'morning All,
I'm combining my mid-May and early June Wyoming trips into 1 thread this year.
I'm helping out 2 ~~ 26 Bull moose tag holders, 1 from my home state and another fellow from northwest Wyoming.
Plus a couple of fellow Non-Ressy's with Gen elk tags.
I hit 29k miles on my 2020 JPGladiator on the mid May trip driving up.
Thanks for taking the time to view All.

Still some dang good snow in the high country in mid-May
This year 60+ lbs lost.
This year 60+ lbs lost.
My buddy from Nevada, NvMike and his wife came along again this spring in mid-May.
He has been on that Roger Raglin diet for a year and lost 60 + pounds
Last spring, mid-May, Gig Fella NvMike!!
Between the 2 trips this Spring, I went up many drainages and then bushwacked off into side canyons/draws.
I came across this 'uge Beaver Dam
Driving up on my June trip I came across this sign about Beavers.
I hiked down closer to the 'uge Beaver Pond
I got on the correct game trail for sure!
Not the best into the Horizion @ 400 yards iPhone pic but All Velvet bulls!!
That wraps it up for this early AM.
Get my hike in and then groceries and shave/shower, then 1000 Mass at church.
More to follow-------->

Awesome..thanks for sharing. Beautiful country
Nice, Robb. Congrats to NvMike on the weight loss!
Outstanding thread. Congrats on a great morning. Wish I was there.
Yup, liv'n the good life for sure Robb.
I am really tempted to fly out to the Bighorns and scout Unit 37 for my fall elk archery hunt. Maybe do a little fishing while there. Just so much going on.
Look forward to these trips of yours. Hope that you don't find much winter kill this year. Nice that your seeing some young bulls. I am planning some scouting a little later this summer in Colorado. Best of luck to you, Badbull
Thanks Fella's!
Still pretty brisk in the early AM's, with icicles along the creeks.
Between the 2 trips, I covered a lot of drainages.
It seemed like no matter where I hiked into, held Velvet elk, Velvet moose and Velvet deer.
A good year for Antler Growth.

NvMike and his Mrs stayed here at Kodiak Cabins RV park.
Very Nice!
It got a little 'Western' along the hywy 89 ! haha
For the June trip I drove up and over Monte Cristo/Woodruff/Cokeville as I hadn't taken that route for years.
Back in the day, I stayed here many nights. In Cokeville
The lil cutie pie cowgirl that ran the place told me the actual owner was from Pa. and his name was Joe.
As our Bowsite grew and we got many new members from around our USA, I started to wonder if Mule Power /Joe was the owner.
Last place I paid Under $5 for gas/87
Damn the luck
Still, plenty of snow in the high country on my June trip @ Photo Pass!! haha
These 2 colts sure did grow in 3 weeks
On my June trip it seemed the Velvet bulls still in bachelor groups but all the cows seemed to be single as I think they might had been off alone calving?
That wraps it up for this early AM.
I'll finish up manyana with some This-n-That stuff.
Thanks again for taking the time to view All.
Good luck, Robb
Thanks Robb......I am hoping to run some of the roads and jump out and hike around a bit up in Unit 11 to scout for my buddy's type 9 tag hunt this fall. I imagine still alot of snow on the forest service roads up in the Snowy Mtns. I am actually excited by the prospect of a night or two out in my hammock in the high country.
Nice! Bring on the This n That stuff!
Plenty of snow still in the high country

Here is the best I can do for those axing about ATV use.
I don't use mine for hunting, so I don't have any real knowledge about them in Wyoming.
See my link above.
Good luck, Robb
Well I found a chit load of elk......cows and calves.....more than I have seen outside rocky mountain park in Moraine Park....had to have seen over 40 elk in two separate herds. Unfortunately they were in unit 10 and my buddy has a tag for unit 11..........the search continues!
Not a bad way to spend a saturday morning in wy
Good for you Jordan.
It seems that is just how Wyoming is, ya hike up basically any canyon, trail or no trail and ya find wildlife!!
Good luck, Robb
