Pretty Informative article on where the NR's are coming from to hunt in Montana. The interactive map shows how many folks from each state got licenses there from 2019 - 2022. The numbers for the outfitter pref points is discussed.

WA is a horrible state for hunting. Little to no opportunity. Lived in Spokane for 4 years. And that's the good side of WA. It's when I started hunting MT.

I would not have guessed Washington either. I would have thought there was good opportunities there.
