Looked up while eating a Kind bar while scouting for elk in CO yesterday and saw this guy looking at me. He stood there for 20 minutes while I took pics of him with my Iphone. I don't know much about moose but find it amazing that his antlers are that small on June 15th as he looks like a mature bull body wise. (But as I said, I know little about moose so I could be wrong. I just also saw another bull that seemed skinny).

I don't know much about moose either, but was told that "normally" the bigger the "bell" the younger the bull. No bell on that one, so assuming it is mature?

In the colder climates the bottom parts of the bell freeze off in the winters. That's why they say the long belled moose are prob younger as they haven't froze off yet.
