Thanks to everyone who sent in nominations this year….3 winners were chosen a few weeks ago and we now have 3 young men (2 new to bowhunting) all shooting their new fully loaded, beautiful rigs! I in no way do all this alone and a want to give a HUGE thank you to 3 men I’ve never met personally who are just off the charts amazing and kind hearted; all 3 are Bowsiters. Two of them have been on board with me for now the 4th year (the anonymous Mr. X and Chief 419). Another gentleman messaged me and wanted to get involved and also prefers to remain anonymous so we’ll call him Mr. J. I sent my Bear/Muzzy package to a young man named Julian. Julian comes from divorced parents and his Dad, let’s just say has some issues. Julian was shooting a youth bow too small for him, recently had his car broken into (his custom Buck knife stolen) and was just really down on his luck. Well, he’s not any more!!! He has a wonderful step dad, Joe as his mentor and I know his future is bright. (Oh yea, Mr. X heard about the stolen knife and sent Julian a custom knife of his he had owned for 30 years!) Mr. J sent a brand new, fully rigged Bear Alaskan Ready to Hunt package, arrows, release and case to a young man with special needs named DJ. DJ’s dad, former Army, is very involved with him and they already have some bow hunts planned this fall! Mr. X sent a rigged out Mathews Traverse (after ordering and installing new modules to ensure it fit!) to a youngster named Aeris. Randy (Chief 419) sent Aeris a dozen arrows and a release! Aeris has a neighbor and mentor named Sean who has stepped up and is teaching him to shoot and is taking him hunting. Aeris comes from a broken home and his Dad is in not in his life. Please keep these young men and their mentors in your prayers and I hope to be sharing some successful hunting pictures this fall. Thanks again to the amazing gentlemen with servant hearts who helped me out and mostly thanks to the good Lord for bringing all these people and goodness into my life…..to God be the Glory! Y’all pay it forward when you can, spread some kindness and let’s keep our great sport growing!

I am DJ father and I would like to thank everyone that had a hand in this giveaway. It's really means alot to me that there are caring people who wants to get the next-generation into bow hunting. Everyday since he recieved the bow he asks me when can we go hunt with it. I can't wait either deer season needs to hurry to get here. But in the mean time he has a lot of practice to do. Thank you.
Awesome way to get new kids into the sport! Thanks John for your efforts and sharing. Love the bowsite community and everyone who contributed

BOWHUNTERS ARE THE BEST! Well done to all involved! GREAT STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey guys, Julian is my step son. He’s one of the winners in this awesome give away. Can’t begin to express how grateful I and especially Julian is for the kindness of the individuals who donated items. Julian’s a great young man who’s persevered through some tough things in life and I’m so happy to see him smile and lifted up. He’s got a decent Colorado elk tag in pocket this year and was worried he wasn’t going to be able to hunt as he’d totally outgrown his “youth” bow. These awesome guys set him up with a ready to hunt bow, 1/2 dozen arrows, broadheads, release and a knife. Blown away by you guys. Thank you!
Y’all are very welcome! Keep us updated on how these young men do this fall!
By far my favorite thread every year. I love when good things happen to good people and it’s all facilitated by great people!!!
Absolutely, positively outstanding! I will take your request, Jasper, and keep all involved in my prayers. Bravo indeed!!!
