Yessir. Put the 70 lbs. mods on my Mathews VXR and got everything pretty much dialed in. Trying out some new vanes. Will shoot broadheads tomorrow.
Went to a new archery shop here in town to meet the owner and shot a couple PSE's. The EVO XF 33 is pretty sweet.

Not yet. After supper when it cools down a bit. There’s a 7 minute window between scorching heat and hoards of mosquitoes. Welcome to Saskatchewan.

Currently at the Colorado Bowhunters Association Jamboree. Shooting with 600-700 other bowhunters. Been a lot of fun shooting in the mountains at about 9600 feet. Six 3-D courses running through the mountains. If looking for a good time next summer you should come to it.

Been working on shoulder pain. Lots of stretching & exercises. Two years ago it was elbows, last year right shoulder. This year it’s the left shoulder. This getting old sucks. Every year less draw weight. Been doing lots of work with a string trainer & a back tension release. The 1st couple shots with the bow each day are very uncomfortable. Barely able to draw & a sharp pain on release. The repetition with the string trainer have done wonders for the form & target panic though. I’ll keep grinding through it. Can’t imagine hanging up the bow quite yet.

Blood,, when I used to shoot 3d tournaments you had to have a foot touching the stake. It looks like you are perfecting a new point of contact with the stake.. aw just kidding, I hope did well. I try to shoot every day from April to October.

Yes. I wanted to confirm the angle compensation feature on my rangefinder actually works. I figured it might be useful on my upcoming sheep hunt. So I found a steep hillside and put my target butt at the bottom. Then I climbed up to where the target looked like it was over 50 yards away. My rangefinder said to use my 40 yard pin. I shot two 3 arrow 3 inch groups dead center using my 40 yard pin. So it appears to work. Now I hope I have time to range, if I get a shot opportunity.

I shot on Monday July 4th. First time shooting since last December. Had a car accident on December 20th and back surgery on December 22nd. Didn’t shoot to bad considering. Have shot twice a week since then. Shot again today and things are starting to look up. Good form is signing through with no back pain.

Just stepped outside as I do every morning and took one “cold” shot at 35 yards.. Now I’ll do the inversion table and elliptical machine… Next I’ll go back outside and shoot 50 blank bale shots working on different parts of the shot… Then this evening shoot another 50/100 arrows at a distance 15-40 yards…
