Playing with vane combo in the July heat...
Nice shooting! I did not shoot today, baby sitting for grand daughters. Will shoot a few dozen tomorrow.
Every day.. 4-5 days a week 50 arrows at blank bale 10 feet away
Yes, on about the toughest 3D course I've seen. (For Traditional class.)
Ill shoot tomorrow - I say that everyday
Yessir. Put the 70 lbs. mods on my Mathews VXR and got everything pretty much dialed in. Trying out some new vanes. Will shoot broadheads tomorrow.
Went to a new archery shop here in town to meet the owner and shot a couple PSE's. The EVO XF 33 is pretty sweet.
Yep, I shoot my recurve everyday. It's fun and relaxing.
I hope you all enjoy your days.
Chronographed all six bows in two different arrow weights. Hope that counts.

Everyday.. Helps me relax and gives me confidence.
That’s a yes for me.
Not yet. After supper when it cools down a bit. There’s a 7 minute window between scorching heat and hoards of mosquitoes. Welcome to Saskatchewan.
No, shoulder surgery on Tuesday. (Roll eyes)
Tuning the bow come Monday. Just put on a new string and D-loop. Bought new arrows and broadheads, so some good times ahead. Love tuning in!
Wife has been shooting her bow pretty regularly getting ready for the season opener next month!
Yes Rick, keep us posted amigo…Good thoughts your way!
Yep, I flung some arrows today. I even went to the local Scheel’s in CO and tried a LH RX7 Ultra. Very nice shooting bow.
Whoa, they had a Lefty, nice! Hard to find…Not that I’m looking! ;-)
Not many days I don’t shoot. This new Hoyt is very fun to shoot.
Currently at the Colorado Bowhunters Association Jamboree. Shooting with 600-700 other bowhunters. Been a lot of fun shooting in the mountains at about 9600 feet. Six 3-D courses running through the mountains. If looking for a good time next summer you should come to it.
Good deal John…

Yes! 3D course this morning. Shoot straight!
Thanks. I needed that!
Been working on shoulder pain. Lots of stretching & exercises. Two years ago it was elbows, last year right shoulder. This year it’s the left shoulder. This getting old sucks. Every year less draw weight. Been doing lots of work with a string trainer & a back tension release. The 1st couple shots with the bow each day are very uncomfortable. Barely able to draw & a sharp pain on release. The repetition with the string trainer have done wonders for the form & target panic though. I’ll keep grinding through it. Can’t imagine hanging up the bow quite yet.
Blood,, when I used to shoot 3d tournaments you had to have a foot touching the stake. It looks like you are perfecting a new point of contact with the stake.. aw just kidding, I hope did well. I try to shoot every day from April to October.

Yes. I wanted to confirm the angle compensation feature on my rangefinder actually works. I figured it might be useful on my upcoming sheep hunt. So I found a steep hillside and put my target butt at the bottom. Then I climbed up to where the target looked like it was over 50 yards away. My rangefinder said to use my 40 yard pin. I shot two 3 arrow 3 inch groups dead center using my 40 yard pin. So it appears to work. Now I hope I have time to range, if I get a shot opportunity.
Good luck Matt!
Yes, about 20 arrows at 40 yards, 10 at 50 yards and 20 at 30 yards.
I shot my recurve today.
Best kind of practice Matt…Will shoot later, when it drops into the mid-90’s! Lol
Yes. I shot recurve and compound various yardage.
Yep, shot my longbow. It’s relaxing for me and I like to shoot even though I don’t have any hunts this year, again. Had my 3 kids with me shooting their bows as well.
Yes, after a 4-day 'break'.
Yes, but not happy with it...
Shot last week, did so well, I'm afraid I'll jinx it !
Happier today…Lol Good morning to shoot!
3 D with kiKe
I shot on Monday July 4th. First time shooting since last December. Had a car accident on December 20th and back surgery on December 22nd. Didn’t shoot to bad considering. Have shot twice a week since then. Shot again today and things are starting to look up. Good form is signing through with no back pain.
I shot my Don Dow longbow today after work.. 2016 arrows. Soaking wet by the time I got thru with the heat and humidity
Was able to get out yesterday evening after having grandkids all weekend. Lucky to have this nice range not too far from home.
Yep, 9 shots fired
Just stepped outside as I do every morning and took one “cold” shot at 35 yards.. Now I’ll do the inversion table and elliptical machine… Next I’ll go back outside and shoot 50 blank bale shots working on different parts of the shot… Then this evening shoot another 50/100 arrows at a distance 15-40 yards…
