But it's been taken over by the likes of you, Axel, spewing your populist garbage and your grievance politics. This notion of a global cabal is an intentional fear tactic - a political bogeyman - that you've flocked to along with far too many of the MAGA sheep. And for the record, I've never voted for a Democrat for President - I'm just a frustrated former-Republican that has seen what was once my party infiltrated by dolts like you.
It's also no mystery why Trump lost. He was that despised and disliked by that many people. He was truly that bad. Trump lost far more than Biden - who is awful - won. I'd love it if the Republicans ditch Trump and his populist, nationalist approach and get back to what made them the clear choice amongst the two major parties, but I'm not holding my breath.

Then the people can vote them out. That's how it works. I know in many ways that's a simplification - political parties aren't single issue and thereby our chosen representatives may not always align with us (even when we vote for them). This is also compounded by the fact that our political systems are generally built on a first-past-the-post structure (you don't need a majority of votes to win...just one more than the second place finisher). With that said, we do have representative democracies and if the "PEOPLE" truly aren't being heard, then we have the opportunity to choose someone that we think will. Remember the "PEOPLE" isn't just farmers worried about their livelihoods - it is the entire voting base.
America first is just what it says. It doesn't mean America only.
There are good and bad ways to live together as a society.
If the people who want the better way are a minority, they are still in the right.
The Dems didn't believe it when Gore lost (hanging chad's and a SCOTUS decison) and they didn't believe it when Hillary lost to an falsified Russia collusion hoax.
And now some 50 million Trump supporters (figuring roughly 2/3 of them) don't believe the last election was fair either (ballot harvesting, double voting, non-citizens voting, etc.)
So what now???? Hardly anyone will believe the results in 2024 and chaos will reign. Deliberately or otherwise....
