I was just in the Keys for a long weekend and after some fishing I decided to see if I could find some key deer. I thought these deer were supposed to be small? Yes I did see some small ones, but these weren’t that small in both antler size and body. I wish I took my better camera for the trip but tried to keep it as light as possible. Enjoy these awesome “little” deer!!

I’ve been to Big Pine Key many times. Stayed in a house on that key once. Never saw bucks quite that big. Did you put a dollar on the wall at the No Name Pub? Great place if you can find it!

Mule Power, no didn’t go there. I was in Marathon on a friends boat and we had some time, so I said I wanted to see some key deer so we drove the short distance over. Even he was surprised at the size of these deer and he is down here frequently.
