For those looking for a travel bow case that doesn't scream "gun case" to airport personnel... I believe my 5 year search for a perfect travel bow case has ended.
This week when I received my new Legend Everest 44" rolling duffel. I must give props to "Hunt Forever" for mentioning this in his African hunt recap. I will post a bunch of pics.

Some of the first things I noticed was the initial quality and it didn't weigh 23lbs like my SKB double bow "trunk". Heavy zippers, rigid frame, TSA lock zipper pulls, and its discreet. When traveling with my SKB case,I've had multiple issues with airport personnel getting shi++y with me for not registering my "firearms". Missed several flights going through Toronto because everyone assumes the SKB is a gun case.

I recently bought a 33 inch Mathews V3X . With an overall length of 39 inches, it limited my buying options. I had been looking for a travel golf bag but that changed when "Hunt forever" mentioned the Legend. I also greatly appreciated all of the storage and it comes with an adjustable arrow tube.

I also really liked the 6 moveable modular velcro straps that can be used for keeping smaller things like sights and misc gear from floating around the case.

Plenty of room....
Plenty of room....
The case is advertised as a double bow case and thats no lie. In my "2 Bow SKB " there's little room for anything else. With the Legend there's a heavy padded divider that would separate 2 bows plus allow room for a lot of extra gear.

Plus there's adjustable corner storage "pockets" with clear covers to see contents. You'll be able to keep bow from sliding around in transit due to velcro backing. Plus you can see where you stored your small items like rangefinder, prescriptions, tools...blah blah blah.

The opposite side of case has compartments for clothes or gear. The arrow tube is sturdy, adjustable and is held in place by straps.

I also really like that the case is somewhat rigid and not just a duffel.
Anyhow, enough rambling. Hope this helps someone looking for an option. It's not cheap but I feel it's definitely worth the cost. Plus, if it keeps you from getting jacked around at an airport its worth it.
