The white fawn thread reminded me of the black (melanistic) groundhog I seen yesterday... Had seen pictures before and one mounted but first time I'd seen one alive... It was in short grass field and first thought it was a black cat until I almost drove past and recognized it was a groundhog... Looked jet black and small, young of the year and had I not somewhere to go, would have went back for photos... When time allows will try to get pix...

Very cool…. I love groundhog hunting. In fact my local archery shop would have a woodchuck contest every year ( heaviest ) Through the years I was able to take 3 different color phase A Blonde a black and a red…

APauls - can you imagine if they had pictures like this of Harper or Pollievre ?? The libs would come totally unglued. But JT gets a pass … smh.
