I live in a pretty cool spot. Located this guy from a long ways off Thursday. Loaded up my jet skiff to access his patch of turf and hiked in midday Friday. Got to watch him from 700 yards below for a few hours that evening. Saturday morning I took a route that put me up above his hideout and finally found him around noon. Had him back to the beach and jetting home just after sunset. Such cool critters. Lucky to get to hunt them every year.
Anyone else successful and/or chasing them this year?

Luke will be a resident in April. Then he could take his dad. Whenever he sends me pictures of goats I alway ask if I could get to them. He says no. He could be wrong but if you see any where an old guy could to I’d appreciate a heads up.

Rut, I’ve been in AK for the better part of 8 years, and permanently since 2019. Changing my Bowsite profile wasn’t part of the residency requirements so it’s slid through the cracks!
That’s great Randy! Just happened to stumble across Luke and Adrianne’s elk packing cameo on YouTube last night. The goats and brownies will be in trouble for sure! Would be fun to team up for something! Not going to lie, this one wasn’t fun at all, but I might have something in mind that should be a little easier on the knees.
