2022 Arrows
2022 Arrows
Finally got my arrows finished for the season. It's a labor of love by I enjoy making them. These are 60-65# Surewood Shafts. After cutting them to length and putting the tapers on, I like to burn patterns on them with a butane torch. I then stain them and give them to my wife to hand paint. This year she used her glitter markers, which really spiced things up. Then they were dunked several times in a dip tube full of poly before I fletched them and glued on the points. Total arrow weight is around 680 grains with a 190 grain Meathead.

Great looking arrows for sure. I used to do that long ago. Made some pretty good looking arrows. Now, I still make & repair all the arrows for myself & 8 family members. I just enjoy it. Not as much put into the "decoration part" anymore.
