I have used Bushnell for many years. Just upgraded to a newer Bushnell over the summer and still believe it is a very good value for the price.

I don’t know that there is a “best.” I’ve used a Leica 900 for 10+ years. It’s been flawless.

Is cost a factor?

I like the ones on my Leica binos! Very nice not having to switch back and forth plus lug both binos and rangefinder!

This one is the most compact and reliable one I have found. Only weighs a few ounces and measures 2"x2"x1/2" . No batteries, always works. Accurate? Well, that might be its weakness.
