Anyone have a lead on replacement traction belts for Lone Wolf Sit N Climb stands? Looks like they are sold out everywhere, and mine need to be replaced.

Novixs is the new name for the old lone wolf stands. Didn't see climbers on their website but you might call them and get a lead on replacement belts.

If somebody would use the basic design for the LW hand climber and market it..they would sell a lot of stands and belts

Novix can’t make the belts anymore. Good luck finding a set.

My buddy says you can’t find lone wolf climbers in stock anywhere. He heard they aren’t even making them anymore. Is that true?

I’ve seen new climbers on EBay

Rut Nut, the short version is that after the original owners came back out with “Lone Wolf Custom Gear”, “Lone Wolf Portable Treestands” changed their name to Novix Outdoors.

But can you still get the lightweight climbers from Novix Outdoors?
Edit: I just checked the Novix website and apparently all they sell is hang ons now. That’s all I could find on their website.

EBay finally sold out all the new climbers but they have a few used. This is one stand where you don’t have to worry about getting your money back. It’s the Tacoma of stands.

I was planning to purchase one this year but by the time I decided between the large or small platform for the hand climber I realized all the new ones were sold out everywhere.
I emailed Novix a while back and asked if they were bringing the hand climber back to market under the new brand. They responded with a simple “No.”

Matter of fact all the places I checked were out of stock / discontinued. That sucks.

Good bet that those traction belts were not custom made strictly for LW stands, and instead that it was stock gear-belting they were out-sourcing, that they'd cut to length and then print on their warning arrows & etc. If someone could ID the specs for the belting, it could probably still be bought and the belts created in similar manner.

LWCG will start making the belts again next year. They’ll be extremely expensive.

I had my original belt break on me climbing a tree that was really too skinny for the climber. It was the belt on the seat that broke and I replaced both at the same time. I hadn't got far off the ground when it broke and no injuries. I'm thinking the belts were at least 25 years old when that happened.

I contacted Novix, no go, they didn't have any leads either. Everyone is sold out. Not good.

I heard LW sold the rights to Novix but then pulled them due to Novix not living up to the quality standard. LW said they were coming out with a new climber but not sure what happened.
