Shot my first Bull Moose in Alaska! 40 yard shot, iron will s100 broadheads, maxima sd arrows, Matthew’s bow.

Went in the woods after him, drawn on him at 30 yards but quartered the wrong way…he runs off. Get back on him about 30 minutes later, sneak up to 50 yards, close in to 40. Take a shot he runs off. I gave him awhile went down a trail a couple hours later noticed where his track went back into the woods, entered woods at this point, found him bedded down about 50 yards from the trail & about 400 yards give or take from where I shot him.

This griz was shot in camp that went after my gut pile (not by me) it’s cool guy knew it was a griz because of the way he tried to bury the gut pile to come back to later.
