I use the skull hooker for elk. Easy to put up and secure.

Here's how I do mine. It's quick, easy, and secure. I always find a stud in the wall, then either use a large nail, or lag screw, to hang the wire on.

If not mounted on a board then definitely on the skull hooker. I hate how they look hanging flat on the wall.

I agree teeth flat on the wall don't look natural to me, I prefer something that tilts the nose up more. Skull Hooker works, I've made my own also, and for one I just put a screw into the antler and hung sideways. Turned out awesome and I think it's a much better display for when skull is placed higher.

Skullhooker for me too. They angle nicely to match my shoulder mounts.

Love the elk display Smarba!! Skull hooker unless it's going on a panel first.

Skull Brackets are made right here in Laramie and work great. Good guy making them.

No elk for me, but Skull Hookers work great for deer. These Skull Brackets look very stout.

I make my own

Very nice slipshot! I made my own once as commercial brands don't extend as far from the wall as yours (and mine) and so it's hard to create a more natural skull angle with a bigger elk.
