What’s everyone’s opinion on real hunting experiences with Grim Reaper expandables

My wife uses a crossbow and shoots the 125 razor tips. So far she has shot 5 deer in 3 years. All shots were 18-33 yards with the deer broadside. They have all gone 50-75 yards with great blood trails. After each kill, I replace the blade with new ones. My buddy has been using them since 2014 out of his compound and has had great success.

I'm planning on buying a pack for my compound for bear season next year.

Devastating…. Only way yo describe them.

They're decent heads. One drawback I noticed over the years of using them was that the blades can break off easily when hitting heavier bone. Keep it in the ribs and you'll be fine.

I love them. I have shot a pile of critters with them and they have always performed well for me!

2” here murph. It’s says 3” diameter cut

I've been using them for years and love them. 2" here but I shoot a heavy arrow with heavy poundage.

They’re pretty good. I’m not a lover of aluminum ferrules though

22-Oct-22
Good. Fatal steel is stronger ferrule

I shot 3-4 animals with them. Brittle blades . I shot the 4 blade pro. Will not shoot them again. Hunt

I prefer the 1 3/8 head. I have used the 2" though as well.

Me and my brother each had an issue with a blade or in his case all the blades not opening on impact. I went back to my slick trick fixed blades

My wife used another one this weekend on a doe. Hit her in the back of the lungs and she went 100 yards down the hill. 5 minute track job in the dark.

I think you have to shoot ‘em in the gizzard with a Grim Reaper

Love my grim reapers. Last 21 deer I've taken has been with them. Longest track was 46 yards. All complete pass through. Shooting right at 76 ft lbs energy.

Great head. Prob one of my fav over the top mechanicals. i do prefer a rear deploying head, because of the larger entry hole.
