Heading to Peace river Alberta in a couple of weeks to try and bag a big whitetail. My buddy lives there and wanting to bring four trailcams to place about. There are soooooo many choices. Something easy to use, realizable and decent images. Thanks!

I just got a Tasco trail cam at Walmart for $32. Easiest cam I have ever set up, takes decent pictures. I'll probably get another.

Check these out on Amazon, I've got 4 of them now. Can set to take pics and video at the same time, and only take 4 AA's to run. I've got other good/expensive cams, and a couple of Tasco's as well, and they're ok in video mode on scrapes and so forth but I was not impressed with the pictures. These are cheap and if they "go missing" it doesn't hurt as bad.

Not surprised soccermomny is supporting the Busbices. Two examples of what wrong with hunting today.

should be more like your fuhrer's family I suppose. 3 marriages, adulatory in all of them, a raw dog porn star, and god knows how many abortions he's funded.
"family values" though, right?
Sorry didnt find out the. Blood type of the ceo of the product I bought 3 years ago(sarcasm)

I think you'll be happy with them Adventurewriter. They will use more battery in video mode(depending on quality/length of video clip chosen), but for the price they are hard to beat. You'll have to share some results! I'd post some pics/video, but I'm in SD hunting Pheasant and my hard drive is back home in KS. Here's a clip from one.

I just got a couple of these WOSPORTS to try. I tested at home and seem good. Came with 32MB cards for this price too.
I'll be checking real-world results this weekend.

soccern23ny, talk about derailing a thread and being a dick! You win it hands down. Yes, I know "John started it".

I agree with TGbow. I recently got a couple Gardepro cams from trailcampro.com for $70. each. And if you buy two you get free S&H, and it comes with a two-year guarantee. I've had dozens of brands of TCs over the years. I cannot believe the quality of both the video footage and/or stills. Absolutely outstanding! I have mine set up to take a burst of two still-shots then a 10 second video clip. Unless something changes that's all I'll ever buy down the road. I saw they are out of stock the last couple days, but they got in another 1,000 units today. I'm very pleased. I don't get any freebies but tell them Uncle Barry sent you. I just enjoy sharing when I find something good. BW

Hi Barry - How's your season going so far? Peak rut here in NE Ohio, bucks running everywhere...

Generally poor conditions here. Way too warm and high/ variable wind velocities. I'd rather not educate them until things get right. The cold weather will make a HUGE difference the next few days upcoming. Get ready. I don't want to be too tired when it gets good. Best to all. BW
