Draw length? I'm really interested in this bow, but I shoot 31.5" draw length.

If those specs are legit, that will be worth a trip to the bow shop! That would be one of the fastest bows at 7.25BH that Ive ever seen..

I think this bow and the Omnia are going to blow all the other bows away this year. Mathews who?

I think Snyder said 1/4" draw length adjustments which I think is awesome. Also, something about the limb pockets being adjustable for centershot?

Long brace for that speed. Back wall?

The Elite Carbon Era has been released go to Elite’s website and a few other reviews.

Nice. The 1/4” draw adjustment is ‘da bomb. I might have to start knocking over some convince stores cause it ain’t going to be cheap.

The good thing is we don’t have to worry about spike buying a Mathews. Which will increase demand for this bow.

Nick,

I am assuming this bow has their S.E.T technology. You can move the bowstring path or cam by adjusting the limb pivot angle. Pretty neat system.

My Gearhead will always have a warm place in my heart and I will never sell it but I am going to have to try this bow out. If anything I will wait a year and hopefully buy it for a couple hundred less.

WV you don’t have to worry about me ever buying a Mathews as Elite is so far ahead Mathews is going to have to change their slogan to “Were right behind you”!

Spike…….you mean “Were right behind you, now WE’RE way ahead of you”?

Yeah maybe way ahead in their stabilizer price.

The total adjustability of that cam sounds amazing. 1/4" draw length adjustments, holding weight from 70-90%, and the S.E.T. technology mentioned by Mark above. Will be interesting to see how guys like it. Don't think I'll run out and buy one until I hear the real world reviews.

I've been a Mathews shooter since the mid-90's. Have three of them hanging in the garage right now. This new carbon bow from Elite definitely has my attention! Like midwest, I'll probably hold out for some real world reviews. I'm a southpaw, so it's typically not very easy to find newly released bows like this to shoot at dealerships.

I’m predicting a shorter brace height and more speed for next years Elite carbon bow. Seems that is the only complaint from the comments on YouTube reviews.

This actually looks like a great hunting rig. Great brace height, the ata is a little short for me BUT the huge cams do help make up for it. I shot the Kure a little bit and the only thing I was really unimpressed with was the BH. The huge cams on the Kure and looks like on the Era give the overall length a much more appealing length and better string angle at full draw. I’m partial to my victory 37, but definitely like the weight of the Era. Speeds looks plenty good( hopefully they hold true). Been a huge fan of elites grip and the set technology. Not to mention the letoff is crazy ( like most newer bows).

Second that comment - Get Serious RX7. Still the best two years in a row!

Bigdog21 and LOSTNwoods, What did you guys like better about the RX7 vs the Era when you did your comparisons? Assuming you've shot them both?

From: spike78

They didn’t shoot them both they are like Matt’s Fanboys and just assume it’s the best bow.

Did not shoot both . Hoyts have always been my fav. Owned a few mathews and bowtechs. But keep going back to Hoyts . I got the longer riser with bigger brace hieght.

I have a friend who LOVES his RX7 and I value his opinion. He won't post on this thread because he doesn't have anything relevant to add since he hasn't shot the Era.

Just busting Bigdog I haven’t tried out the RX7 but read it has a great draw cycle. I have never shot a Hoyt but wouldn’t mind trying one out.
