After getting back form an Ibex hunt in Kyrgyzstan I had a couple days before Thanksgiving that I’d be able i hunt the extended archery hunt. I was able to find this buck the first morning. I watched him all day unable to get a shot. The next morning I turned him up again and was able to get it done. My field pics are terrible because I was by myself. I never expected to kill a buck of this caliber on one of the heaviest hunted units in the state.

Yep that's a massive achievement on the extended. Congratulations! I was up there this morning and must have been a hunter per square block. Awesome job

Been hunting the front since 1985 and have never gotten it done on big buck. What a toad is all I can say and congrats on sticking with it.
Maybe some day for me, but in the mean time awesome to see !!!
