Hello Fellow Bowsiters,
It was awesome to get the Covid stuff behind us and operate a full camp this spring!! And with the calendar turning the page to December, it’s time to fire up the Annual Bowsite Christmas Auction!!
As we are still cleaning up our cancelled ’20 and ’21 seasons, and with a high hunter return rate, 2023 is fully booked. This means you are competing for a hunt in 2024 (maybe) or more than likely 2025.
Here’s hoping for an incredible auction.
The rules will be the same as in the past:
1. Bowsite, it's owners, employees, and its sponsors are not affiliated, or responsible for this auction or any issues regarding from it, nor will be held liable if any problems arise.
2. Adrenaline Outfitters Ltd. will not receive any monies generated from this auction. All funds generated from this auction will be donated to the charity of the winning bidders choice.
3. The Auction will run until 15:00:00 CST, December 23, 2020.
4. You are bidding on a five-day hunt, but will be required to purchase your hunting tags. This hunt may be taken in 2024 or 2025 available dates (please contact me for availability). The winning bidder will need to comply with all border crossing regulations at the time of the hunt.
5. This is not a leftover or fill in hunt. You pick your dates (based on current openings at time of Auction close).
6. To claim your hunt, the Auction winner must donate to their charity of choice, their full bidded amount, then produce the tax deductible receipt showing the date and amount donated. Once that is provided, we will confirm your hunt dates and complete all booking forms.
If you have any questions about the hunt, travel, logistics, etc., please ask on this thread in case others had the same question.
Thanks to Pat and Bowsite for allowing us to do this! Good luck and thanks in advance to all bidders.

Always love following this. I will get it started with 1,000. To National Law Enforcement memorial fund.
Thanks Shawn! I should add the value of this hunt is $4305!!
Russ
I had a question through a private reply:
"Is the hunt transferable if the bidder would want to give it to a relative?"
Yes, the hunt is yours to do with as you please.
Russ
Thanks for the bid ILbowhntr! Please list the charity you'll be donating to. Free exposure never hurts!

$3000 split between CureSMA and Epilepsy Foundation.
It appears the nearest large airport would be in Winnipeg. Do you recommend a rental car for the drive to base camp, or do you offer an airport pick-up for a fee? Bill
Sorry, weird delayed double post.

We try our best to provide a target rich environment!!

Awesome bidding to some worthwhile causes guys! Thanks!
Hi Bill, yes, we recommend renting a car to get to camp from Winnipeg. It's about a 2.5 hour drive from Winnipeg. Those turnover days - hunters leaving Saturday, arriving Sunday, is when we get a LOT of our work done.
Due to JTreeman's creative bidding, I'm going a add a new rule that minimum bid increment is $2. :)
Russ
I guess Jim is out of the bidding now....
Ok, with the point creep of this auction I guess I’ll have to break out the big buck.
$3,302 to P&Y
—Jim
But for real, I’ll do $3,400.

Won't be bidding this year, but just wanna post my thanks for donating the hunt! Would be super cool to see somebody donate the hunt to Catch-A-Dream to give a kid the opportunity to hunt one of your bears
Boggs, last year's winner donated his hunt to the Pope & Young Club to be used a prize in the Youth Program!
Good on him! Must have missed how this thread ended last year. Best of luck to all the bidders!
I'll bid $3,500 to RMEF. Bill
Thanks for all the bids so far! Currently at $3600 on a hunt valued at $4305...still a great bargain!!
Russ
Best of luck to those that participate in this auction and hunt. Merry Christmas to all.
