I have a UV3 double pin scope (.010) on an Axcel Landslyde. I love the setup. Pricey, but worth every penny.

Only used MBG and very happy with it.

I have both MBG and Spot Hogg, I prefer the MBG for a couple reasons. 1. They are a little less bulky 2. The pins seem to be brighter (IMO).
That's not to say that Spot Hoggs aren't great sights. I don't think you can go wrong with either.
