Haven’t heard anything on this for years. Thinking about trying one to keep from buying a crossbow. Bad shoulder on my part. Anyone try one. Any info appreciated. Thanks

Low draw weight help? New limbs for your bow in low poundage.

I have one. Hurt my left shoulder back in June. Needed something for an upcoming pronghorn hunt in September. Was offered a Xbow but didn't want to go that route. Works great and relatively easy to set up. Was able to set my bow for max poundage through complete draw cycle gaining speed. If you go that route PM me and I can give you more details. Shoulder much better now so back to my compound sans draw loc.

I know a few people that have used a Draw-Loc or Lock-A-Draw, depending on the manufacturer, and are pleased with it. They did not want to use a crossbow, or spend way more on a crossbow. That piece of adaptive equipment allows you to use your own bow, to get back into the woods. Good luck with it.

What are the legalities of using one? I’m assuming it’s different In various states.
