It was a hard fought deer season for my 13 year old. Last night, in the last ten minutes of this winters game she tagged out. The one we were after was with this one but never offered a good shot.

Awesome way to go! I have a question a deer killed in Okiehoma (I assume that were you all were) killed in January does that count towards your 2022 limit or 2023 limit? When I lived there season still closed on Dec 31st.

JohnMC, any deer taken from Jan 1 -15 2023, count towards the 2022 season bag limit.

T-Roy: He is 69 years young and is 5 years out from his first cancer diagnosis whereupon they totally wiped out his immune systems (he had one foot in the grave at his low point) and he has now been cancer free for almost 2 years and is on maintenance chemo. I cherish every trip we take together.

Nice one Gene....what brows ;-)It's looking like this may be a record-breaking year for big Coues deer. The theory I've heard was the wet summer in Sonora combined with more drought type conditions now, which are highly conducive to bow-hunting, have combined to make for some great results.Had already seen pics of several big Coues killed so far this season that could possibly break into the top 10 P&Y all time if entered.
