Shocking....not. He just got off a 28 month suspension of hunting privileges for Utah violations, and couldn't wait to (allegedly) poach again. Guy has a problem.

But Lou, he cried his eyes out in the court room saying he would never do it again.

Guy is a loser. Wish social media companies would boot folks like this who make a living on lies. For idiots like him that would be a bigger deterrent than the actual penalties.

Horns are a fun part of hunting but overall they are a net negative.

older news, trial moved to later this month I believe. He hasn't hidden what he did evidently, said he walked across pvt to recover a deer.

The "unlawfully taken" wording in the amended charge would lead one to believe that there is more to it than walking across private property to retrieve a deer. Especially with the "trespass to hunt" wording in the citation. Maybe not.....but time will tell.

It says that the reflected score of the deer exceeds the 150 inch "trophy score" (161 2/8) and thereby changes the original misdemeanor charge to a felony charge.

Correct...but the original charge was "unlawfully taken" with out the "trophy" enhancement. The addition of the "trophy" enhancement just changed it from a misdemeanor to a felony.

Interesting.....I wonder if they waited 60 days before having it scored, so they could update the charges.....

Wow! Poaching a 161" Mule Deer and calling yourself a Mule Freak?

Didn't any Bowsite members at the Hunt Expo stop by his booth and ask if his new binocular harness has a dedicated sleeve for an attorney's business card?

Anyone can follow along via the Idaho court system. Just type in the case number. CR36-22-0866. The wheels of justice move slow so don't worry; you'll get another full season of InstaYouFace content before any disciplinary action is deemed justified.

The problem with these type of individuals is the younger generation think there super hard core hunters and they idolize them. It seems to happening more often now days.

Seems like it has been a common story for a while before this current social media generation.

Noel Feather, Don Lewis & Kirt Darner come to mind.

It’s always been around, social media just amplifies it.

Too bad I don’t use any of those products… Kind of hard to boycott somebody you’re not buying from already…
