It's time for a new wrist release only because my other one is getting old even though it works fine. I really just want an updated version of the velcro strapped finger release I currently have. The TruBall Stinger XT and TruBall Assassin XT seem to be 2 options. Anyone have input on these two or any other suggestions to look at?

Used one for last 20 years so guess I just don't feel like changing at this age. Pry could if there is a huge advantage to a buckle.

Buckles don’t ever make noise

I used a Velcro strap for several years and was hesitant to switch as well. I finally went with a buckle for the very reason Bou points out. I’d never go back to Velcro now, so I’d definitely recommend you not eliminate a certain release simply because it doesn’t have a Velcro strap.

Scott, been using a Wildcat for years...Velcro only makes noise if you take it off! Do it slowly and not at all....Lol

I love my release. It’s got the “BOA” buckle system on it. Super easy on and off and quiet enough where I’ve never had any issues.

I’ve got the assassin XT. Just be sure to get the xl large strap.
