Montana deer /elk draw successful !

Now the 3 of us need to find a good outfitter in archery season to help bring up our odds of filling the freezer. Any referrals would be great. We drew 270-45 and 2023 general-big game combo ,but i believe that includes all unrestricted districts too. Montana hunting regs are as confusing as the state is beautiful.

If I'm reading your post right, you got the combo and an elk permit. Pretty sure MT changed it so you can only hunt your permit area if you have one.

Unless you do some travel, you'll hunt the elk in 270 but can't hunt mule deer there. You can shoot whitetail deer in the area but will have to travel for general mule deer which for the most part are on the opposite side of the state.
