Cape Buffalo hunt #1 for the season is in the books. Sean and friends had a great hunt and knocked down some game.

They also bagged two other zebra, a nyala bull, other impala and warthog, etc.

Buffalo hunt #2 for the season (still on going) had us in buffalo every day. On day 3, we spotted five bulls across from a large dam and attempted a stalk. We got to within 25 yards from a great hardtop but his ‘spidey senses’ gave us away and the group disappeared into the waiting thorns.

Day 4 success. This morning we found a lone bull around the fringe and made a successful move resulting in a clean kill on this muddy buffalo.

We had an amazing hunt with Ken. Lots of animals, amazing scenery and great PH’s and staff. Ken runs a great outfit and is super well-organized. Very personalized service and no hiccups. Great experience all-around. Now I want to go back with my bow once I get my shoulder issues squared away!!

Land cruiser is a 2023, double cab. We are having a great kickoff to the season in a superb buffalo area. We’ve seen a few hundred buff so far but the place is extremely thick and green currently making it tough to move on them. Trail cams are picking up some nice game though.
