Brassica rotation

Is it a hard and fast rule that brassicas must be rotated every 2 years? I’m in zone 4 and mix my brassicas with rye and get fantastic results. I have planted this combo 3 years I. A row with zero issues. We mow the rye in May and bale it and then apply manure, till, and plant the first week of august. Is there a reason to rotate this combo with something else like a clover/rye combo? I’m planting maybe 3 acres total so a corn or soy combo is not realistic due of deer numbers.
