Next time you're packing out an elk and getting a bit tired, think about this beast of a Sherpa who strapped a guy to his back and packed him out for 6 hours from more than 27,000 ft elevation.

I've followed this a little bit. I've always been very impressed with the Sherpa for their ability to function at those altitudes, but this guy did something simply amazing. A real hero!

That was a super human feat even for people that live at 15,000 ft. He must be exceptionally strong and well acclimatized.

It’s Late season so he most likely has made many trips up and down by the end of May.

Most accept their fate if they run into trouble at that altitude. Most people can do nothing for you. Just the labor of quartering him up would most likely do in many climbers. :>)))
